Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Woodrock Solutions — a trade name of SIA "D & L SERVISS" ("we", "us") — handles personal data in connection with this website, woodrocksolutions.net. We are the data controller.

1. What we collect

• Information you send us. When you use the contact link or form, your own email application sends us the name, email address and message you provide. We receive this as an email — the website itself does not store it on a server.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider may process standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request) to deliver and secure the site.
• Analytics — only with your consent. If you accept via the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used; it sets cookies and shares data with Google. We use no advertising or other third-party trackers, and fonts are served from our own domain.

2. Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry — our legitimate interest, and/or to take steps at your request before any agreement (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To operate, maintain and secure the website — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To measure how the site is used — only where you have given consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3. Cookies & analytics

The site places no cookies until you choose. We ask for your consent through a banner before loading Google Analytics 4 (a service of Google Ireland Ltd.), which gives us aggregate insight into usage — such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device or browser type. If you accept, Google sets analytics cookies and may transfer data to servers in the United States under appropriate safeguards (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses). You can decline, or change your mind at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

4. How long we keep it

We keep correspondence only as long as necessary to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which it is deleted. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider.

5. Sharing & storage

We do not sell your data. We rely on service providers — such as our hosting provider — that process data on our behalf and only on our instructions. Our infrastructure is located within the EU/EEA. We may disclose data where required by law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent (such as analytics), you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv).
